Delta Chi, originally founded as a professional law fraternity in 1890 at
Cornell University, still holds as its cardinal principle respect for, and observance of, the law.
Delta Chi was founded at LSU on January 11, 1941 and since that time we have strived to be an integral part of the LSU campus and community, incorporating these beliefs into our goals, thoughts, actions, and direction. One can find friends almost anywhere, but true brotherhood is a rare commodity indeed. It’s a relationship of a caliber that goes beyond friendship, to encompass a deep concern for the well-being of the individual, the pride of shared goals and group achievement, and a sense of being part of something larger than yourself.
